2017 Jeju The 52nd National Skills Competition

TechCapital Led IKTBN in 52nd WorldSkills Korea Competition 2017


“The WorldSkills Competition is an annual flagship event, known as the largest vocational education and skills excellence event in the world. Competitors from across the globe whom are the best among their peers are selected for this competition in which, separated into different categories.”

This year, approximately 2,000 competitors gathered in Jeju Island, South Korea from the 3rd – 9th September to compete and Malaysia was one of them.


Endorsed by the Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, IKTBN (Institut Kementerian Tinggi Belia Negara) teamed up with TechCapital to represent Malaysia.



Malaysia competed in the main category, which is industrial robot (SCARA).

 

Malaysia was awarded ‘Special Prize’ in industrial robot category by the Chairman of Technical Committee of WorldSkills Korea,
Byungha Kang.
